Rules of Procedure
The fact of reserving and staying at the Guest House ” TWENTY RENT “, at 20 chemin des Gros Buaux, 06800 CAGNES SUR MER, implies acceptance of the provisions of the present rules and regulations and the commitment to comply with them.
The guest house is not a place freely open to the public. It is a family that welcomes you into their home. There may also be other travellers in the property. This is why we invite you to enjoy all the living spaces at your disposal in a friendly atmosphere and with respect for the privacy of each person.
For the comfort and tranquillity of all, we cannot welcome animals in the establishment.
Article 1 : Household linen
For your comfort, we provide you with a bed linen set: 2 pillowcases, 1 fitted sheet, 1 duvet cover, 1 bath mat, 1 to 2 kitchen towels. You have the possibility to rent the bathroom linen: 1 bath towel 70x140cm + 1 bath towel 50x100cm for 8€ per set.
Article 2: Household
Before the exit inventory, you must carry out the following tasks:
- Wash dishes to leave the sink clean and uncluttered.
- Store dishes or any other equipment in its place.
- Empty the fridge/freezer and dustbins.
- Do not forget personal belongings.
Article 3: Arrival & departure
Each Traveller must present an official identity document with photo.
The Traveller must arrive between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm, each Traveller must present an official identity document with a photo, if necessary, access to the premises may be refused. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the Traveller must inform the Landlord. On the day of departure, the Traveller must vacate the premises by 10:00 a.m. at the latest, failing which the Landlord will apply penalties (see rental agreement).
Article 4: Use of the premises
The Traveller must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their destination. He/she undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition and to leave all objects in the room.
Only persons with a reservation are allowed to enter the premises. The Traveller may not introduce third parties into the premises, unless expressly authorised by the Landlord. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited unless expressly approved by the Landlord.
Article 5: Capacity
The number of people making the reservation must be specified at the time of booking. If the intended number of Travellers is exceeded, the Landlord is entitled to refuse the additional persons or to charge a lump sum of 100 euros per night and per additional person.
This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the stay, so that in the event of the departure of a number of Passengers greater than the number refused, no refund can be considered.
Article 6 : Non-smoking establishment
All interior spaces are NON-SMOKING. We invite you to smoke on the terrace where ashtrays are at your disposal. Charges for damage (ashes, burns, odours, waste, etc.) to the exterior and/or interior spaces will be deducted from the security deposit by the Landlord.
Article 7: Deterioration
The Traveller must use the rented property with due care and respect for the premises. In the event of a claim, the Traveller must take civil liability. In the event of damage, the Landlord reserves the right to charge the Traveller the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement observed after the Traveller’s departure.
Article 8: Respect for the rest of other Travellers
Disturbance, even during the day, is forbidden. In order to respect the rest of other travellers, please do not slam doors or make any noise, especially between 10pm and 8am. Parties and gatherings of any kind are forbidden. All small gatherings must comply with our rules concerning noise, neighbourhood and number of visitors.
Article 9: Respect for the premises
Please turn off the air-conditioning and lighting when you leave the premises. Also, we invite you not to let the water run and to moderate the flow during showers.
To ensure the proper functioning of the sanitary facilities, we ask you not to throw into the toilets any object or product (tampons and sanitary towels, make-up remover pads, etc.) that could clog the pipes and cause inconvenience to all the occupants, but only toilet paper.
Please do not eat in bedding, sofas, and do not store food in them. Any dirt, soiling, degradation etc. will be retained on the deposit. For your comfort, a private dining area is available inside and outside your accommodation.
You are asked not to leave dirty dishes in the sink when you leave. The kitchen and kitchenette must be left in a clean and tidy condition, utensils and other equipment must be returned to their original place. Internet access is free, via Wi-Fi. You will be given your access codes on arrival.
Article 10: The Swimming Pool
Within the framework of the French regulations on the use of swimming pools open to guests and with the aim of allowing a harmonious use, these swimming pool regulations have been drawn up.
- The Landlords would like to remind all Travellers that the swimming pool is not supervised.
- The swimming pool is reserved only for guests staying in bed and breakfast.
- All noisy games, all throwing of objects are forbidden in and around the swimming pool.
- The users of the swimming pool commit themselves :
- take a shower before swimming and avoid bathing after using sunscreen or sun oil.
- to access the swimming pool area wearing sandals suitable for this purpose or barefoot.
- to use a swimming costume reserved for bathing use only.
- all users of the swimming pool must be covered by a Civil Liability, Defence and Recourse insurance.
The Landlord, upon repeated failure to comply with any of the items, may withdraw the access authorisation and charge for any damage or deterioration.
Article 11: Theft and accidents
The Landlord declines all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring in the property or in the car park made available to the Passengers. Valuables (jewellery, multimedia devices, credit card, cheque book, cash, etc.) must not be left in the rooms or in the parked vehicles. We decline all responsibility in case of disappearance or theft of these objects.
In the event of non-compliance with these rules, the Landlord reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect and to require the departure of the Traveller(s). No refund or compensation can be claimed by the Traveller(s).
